Lovable Yishun

Yishun is an evergreen, growing modern sub-urban town in Singapore. Life at this lovable place is very convenient. As almost everything is supplied in local shops there is no need to travel out of town for our everyday needs.

North Point mall is located beside Yishun MRT it comprises of shops that sell products ranging from groceries to electronic items. A renowned food court at its basement invites all warmly with all types of food. There is an NLB branch on level 4.

Golden Village is located just next to it.

There are many best primary and secondary schools for children. There are two country clubs, orchid park and safra yishun for recreation.

KTPH hospital and Yishun Polyclinic serves patients and its a comfort to have a good  hospital in the neighbourhood.

Chong Pang market is one of the biggest and traditional marketplace in Yishun. Series of shophouses in 4 storey hdb blocks, a lot of  hawker centers and 24 hours busy restaurants are there. Speciality of Chong Pang market is that we can see many families generation after generation running the shops.

Yishun is well connected to city by 20 to 30 minutes travel through roads and mrt. It takes a travel about 10 min to reach Woodlands checkpoint. Bus 858 connects to Changi international airport from woodlands regional interchange serves 8 bus stations in yishun ave 2 and yishun ave 5.

Gems world academy, a new world class school, seletar aerospace, a big group of companies in Yishun industrial park etc creates a demand for Hdb and private rental properties in Yishun. Upcoming new bus interchange and Northpark residences just next to MRT, other private and executive condominium projects that are under construction which will eventually further increase the value of yishun few years down the road.

With so many features and amenities, owning a hdb property in Yishun is a privilege that one has no need to worry about selling or renting. Demand is there even in receding market. Its easy to sell a hdb within a month just by advertising only in online portals. Since the price is affordable, Yishun can attract many first time buyers, a band of down graders from elsewhere of Singapore and upgraders from yishun itself.

There is a lush green rental income for the landlords who have properties near Yishun and Khatib MRT and upcoming Canberra Mrt as well.

Even though two of my family members travel all the way to east everyday for work and schooling, we do not like to change our lovely home at Yishun. To me, living in Yishun neighbourhood is a fortunate blessing. Also I believe there are more Yishun loving hearts in Singapore.
